Best Indoor Cannabis Seeds 2022
Hello everyone! This article will be going over the best indoor cannabis seeds for 2022. When growing indoors, many people have limited space. Our goal as growers is to get an enormous yield with the available space. There are training techniques to help us achieve a better yield and more kolas, but there are also certain cannabis strains that produce more buds or denser buds than others.
First, we'll go over training methods to improve your yield.
High-Stress Training (HST)
So as per the name of this technique, this puts a lot of stress on the plant. If you're growing autoflowering cannabis seeds, HST is not an option. This is due to the short vegetative growth period that autoflowers have, and you can't risk chopping off any growth since the plant will automatically go into flower whether you want it to or not.
HST may be your best option for a monster yield if you're growing photoperiod plants. Photoperiod plants can stay in their vegetative state until the plant recovers. This gives you the ability to make some mistakes without losing the entire plant. It is essential that your plant is healthy before doing any high-stress training. Do not attempt this technique if your plants have deficiencies or are not doing well because you can kill the plant.
Topping
Topping is a great technique to improve your yield significantly. Cannabis likes to grow straight up like a tree. The problem with letting the plant develop this way is that you may wind up with only three or four main colas. This dramatically reduces your yield because your colas determine how much herbage you'll get. For example, take a look at the picture on the right. This plant was not trained and grew very tall but has only a few tops.
You force the plant to grow more main branches instead of growing long, straight stalks by topping the plant.
To top your cannabis plant, you pinch off the leaves from the central stem. I count up 4-5 nodes and then pinch off the top to create more stems that give the plant a bushy look.
Let your plant recover for four weeks before doing anything else to it.
Screen of Green (SCROG)
After topping and letting your plant recover, the next step I recommend is to SCROG (Screen of Green) your plant. I'm assuming that you are only growing one plant. If you are growing multiple plants, the SOG (Sea of Green) training may be a better option for you. Scrogging gives you the power to precisely position your branches along the trellis. The biggest benefit to scrogging is that your plant will develop many tops because the canopy will be spread out.
Low-Stress Training (LST)
LST is perfect for growing autoflowers. The way you Low-Stress Train is to bend the plant's main stem over, be careful not to break it, and then tie it down, so it stays in place. Your plant will start growing more colas when you do this, which greatly increases your yield. You want to start doing this with autoflowers once the plant develops a set of true leaves.
Now that we've covered some training techniques let's discuss which strains will give you the maximum yield for indoor growing.
